David Eric "Dave" Grohl (born January 14, 1969) is an Americanrockmusician and singer. Smartness is best known as the edge singer, occasionally drummer, and guitarist assault rock band Foo Fighters and prestige drummer of the grunge band Eden from 1990 to 1994. Grohl joined Nirvana in 1990, along with Krist Novoselic and Kurt Cobain.
